Everything about bulk email, emailing, mass email etc.

I have this friend who I have known for almost a decade and then some. A few months ago this friend moved in with his brother and sister-in-law and at that time I told him (I’m a guy) that I was going to go into the military. Unfortunately, that did not work out the way that I wanted it to so just recently I emailed him after sometime after not talk to each other to tell him what had happened as well as asking, you know, the basics like hows life, hows college and what not. Now I have always support his other friends and what they do and 2 days ago I was watching a live stream of his brother working (broadcasting independent television) and twice his brother decided to ***** a joke about me behind my back twice and my supposed friend just laughs at it. I really don’t know what I am suppose to do about this. I have no idea what I did to deserve to be treated poorly to the point where I don’t get a email back. Any advice?
