Why is it that everytime I bulk up to build muscle, my blood pressure is constantly high?


Is it normal for your blood pressure to be elevated (in excess of 140/85) while bulking up? I would like to gain some more weight, but everytime I bulk up, my blood pressure is always high and I have problems sleeping. Is there anyway to prevent high blood pressure while trying to “bulk up”?

People say one doesn’t go with the other, either you concentrate on weight training to bulk up fast, or concentrate on cv to burn the fat because too much cv can “eat up” precious hard gained muscle. But what if I 2hrs of cardio in the morning, eat less carbs, go to work, then go back to the gym to do high impact weight training, eating a high carb high protein meal? Will the muscle still not come?

I’m 6′1 and i weigh 220. I’m 30% body fat. I want to bulk up to a decent size 230-240 but I want bigger muscles rather than fat. What is the difference between tone and bulk?


I know that a lot of reps with a little weight will get you toned, and I know that a lot of weight with fewer reps will get you bulk, but I don’t know what “tone” and “bulk” mean. If you could include links to pictures of a person with tone and a person with bulk it would be really helpful. (the pictures should be two people who put in the same amount of work, yet one is tone and one is bulk, if you know what i mean). Thanks, easy ten points if you can give me some good information.
