Is using bulk email considered spamming?

I have been using http://www.emailmadness.com and have had tremendous results, but how do I know that I have been spamming. I have not have any complaints so far, but I just want to know how many times can you contact someone. I give away free offers and so far I have been getting so many orders. Is using bulk email spamming? Or does contacting people consistently daily spamming? Which is the evil of the two?
Both are spamming if it is an unwanted email, an email from someone that is not on your contact list. Trying to sell something, give something away, advertising something are all considered spam. Good luck!!!
If you are sending mail to people that they do not want, it is spamming. Even if it is only one time. So multiple mailings most certainly are.
