How can I obtain the addresses of a neighborhood (for mailing)?

I am running a small business that is going to send ~ 500 postcards to a local neighborhood. I need a list of the addresses in order to do a direct mailing (instead of bulk mailing, which requires a permit). How can I best obtain the addresses of a neighborhood? USPS wants me to have a typed list, and going door-to-door would be too inefficient to discover these addresses.

Go to:
http://www.whitepages.com/
Do a “reverse lookuo” search using just one address from each street you want to target. It will give you the house numbers of most of the neighbors.
It will also give you names of people living at each address but this data can be highly inaccurate so I recommend addressing each post card:
To Our Neighbors At:
123 Main St
Anytown
Hope this helps!

Google “Direct Mail List”. You’ll get 100s of listings (or 100s of pages). You can try putting in your home town also to try to find a local company.
Once you contact a good DM company, you’ll get lots of options. You can just mail to a neighborhood, or you can target just people who moved there in the last year. You can have them mail for you, or just give you printed address labels. You can address to occupant, or pay a bit more for names. You want household with kids? Ask for that.
