I got an email saying I have a second chance offer from ebay. I hear that it could be a scam?
However, the seller says they are from MD.
But the actual emailer says she is on business in Romania.?
I looked up the seller and it all of her items are positive?
She sent me this “eBay &SquareTrade refund protection.” stating that I am guarenteed my item for 10 days and if I don’t like it, I can send it back? It sounds very protective, also states it was sent by the ebay safeharbor team.?
I am just needing some feedback if I buy or not?
I just figured out it was a fake!!
I emailed the seller directly and she hasn’t wrote me!! crzy crzy!!
CRAP ! what do I do now? they have my address and replied to them!?

yes, you should if you want to. seems safe to me.. and when ebay sends you an email asking for second chance offers its usually 100% safe.
I say don’t buy it. There are sellers out there that have friends bid higher prices than they turn around and give you the 2nd chance but at the price it was won for so they can make the extra money.
If the seller has a high positive feedback rating, then I would most likely trust the seller. And second chance offers are valid. I’ve purchased eBay items that way before, when the winner failed to pay & I was the second highest bidder. But if it doesn’t feel right to you/suspicious, I would probably avoid taking a chance, especially if we’re talking about large sums of money.
Don’t reply. They are phishing for your password. Someone stole mine on ebay and was using my name to sell items that no on would get. I get a lot of second chance offers and even get emails asking me where I they should send the money, even though I wasn’t,t selling anything.Send the email to they will tell you for sure if it’s real.Just because it came from ebay don’t assume ebay sent it.That’s how phishing works. It looks official but it isn’t. I have 890 positive feedback so I know what I’m talking about.
Just saw your added notes. As long as you didn’t give them any confidential information you should be alright.Forward it to Ebay though, and watch your ebay account for any purchases that you make. If someone uses your name to purchase something. Contact ebay immediately and they will take it off your account.Do not wait a day or 2 to contact them. If your really concerned have ebay and paypal if you use it shut down your account for a few days. Good luck.
Dont send them anything else. They are just trouble. I would definately change my password.
