in yahoo groups, what is the subscribe email address for?

I am already a member and want to us a broadcaster that requires every email I send to to give me permission to broadcast. Since I am already a member of the group, should I send the opt-in verification to the subscribe email address or the post email address? Please advise.
i am using aweber autoresponder/brodcaster to send my daily posts to the groups that i am a member of, and aweber requires your subcribers (people sending to), to verify that they have opted-in. im trying to figure out who i send the verification email to…the subscribe email address or the post email addres…remember i am already a member of the group.
