Is my yahoo account hacked?
im not getting mails from a friend. although he is sending me mails (this is confirmed as i have seen his sent box) but the mails are not reaching me.
Although im getting mails from other ID’s and also his emails are being delivered at other ID’s. Can somebody help.
We have both double checked the email id’s, its spellings etc everything is correct.
i have also checked my bulk folder and there are no mails there. Also my friend has not got any mails from MAILER DAEMON regarding non delivery. this is worrying. help pls
Assuming that the email address that he sending is correct, there is only one thing that I can think of. Go into “Options” for your email account. There are two place you need to check. First, check to see that your friend’s email address isn’t in the “Blocked Addresses” list. Also, if you have any spam filters set up, look under “Filters” to see what is active. it’s possible that certain words or email addresses are being filtered out.
The only other thing I can suggest is to make sure that your friend’s email address is in your address book. As long as it’s in your address book, it should bypass any automated spam filters employed by Yahoo.
