Hi, I was writing a book and looked at the outlines to publish a book and after weighing the pros and cons I decided to take a HUGE leap and see if is possible to just make an ebook, burn it on a CD and distribute it myself of various stores here in Chicago. I have figured about 90% so far and my big question is PACKAGING.

I am very skilled artistically and in technology so most of my big hurdles I can solve myself. i cant figure out how to do packaging myself though . Is there a way i could make a box out of a standard sheet of 8X11 that could go through a laser printer.

Like ok, I need a PATTERN for a box. but i would put thin white cardboard in the printer and it would print ON TO the cardboard it would print out the pattern and whatever i would photoshop on it. Then I would cut it out and assemble.

What I need is the pattern and what kind of cardboard am I looking for, does it have a name? I really dont know what I should be googling for? Can I buy the blank cardboard in bulk? If so, do u know where?
